Hello To Spring!!!!!!

Oh, it feels like all of us waited so long for the weather to become this nice.

The sweet sound of chirps from all the birds comming to my bird feeder.

The sight of actual ground and even a few spots of green.

The only down side to spring is the muddy yards & drive ways, but its sure worth it, expecially this year.

I never seen so much snow other than the winter of 1978, that year I can remember 12 & 15  or better foot snow banks, and that was in the city so I can only imagine what it was like in Aroostook County.

It looks like we will be right on track with the planting, the ground is snow free but the water is still an issue, but from what the weathers been like we should be planting in the second week of May, just as usual.

Then on the third week of May we order our chicks, this year we're getting more egg layers and our meat chickens & turkeys. There is plans on largely expanding the chicken/bird coop, our idea is to have two 14x20 coop buildings, one will be for the egg layers only and the other will be divided for the meat chickens & turkeys. I'm not sure how well this plan will go but time will tell. 

Our Bakery will be closed starting today & it will re-open on June 1st. We will take orders of $40.00 or more during our closed season. We needed to close the bakery due to such small infrequent orders. But do not worry, our bakery will reopen June 1st as stated above. We are just not taking small orders at this time. It costs more to bake 1 bread or make a half dozen cookies or doughnuts, so if an order of $40.00 or more comes in we will open to bake for that order. Sorry for any inconconvenience this may cause. Please note! Any product that becomes sold out will be highlighted, some items will be restocked/created, but some cannot until it is in season(example) Veggies are sold out and will not be instock until summer.
